When I was a kid
I watched my parents as superheroes
Nothing was a match for them
They were not afraid of anything
But as time goes by
I noticed that parents
It's just teenagers who have matured
Have passed through adolescence
Made plans for the future
They had their dreams
Just like everyone else

Heroes also cry
They left their dreams aside
To give us the opportunity to dream
To one day be someone's hero

The sacrifices they made, the ruined plans
Giving life for another life
Going through problems and fearing the future
Just to give you the future they wanted to have
When they were just little kids
